SalonMawid is software for salon owners and their teams. This policy explains how we handle information when a salon owner, admin, staff member, or driver uses SalonMawid to manage a home-service salon. If a salon enables public booking, we also process the booking details submitted by that salon's clients on the salon's behalf.
What we collect
- Owner account details, such as name, email address, login credentials, language, and business name.
- Business settings, including services, prices, booking hours, team availability, branding, and subscription details.
- Team records added by the salon, such as staff or driver name, phone number, role, PIN, profile photo, schedule, and time off.
- Booking and client records managed by the salon, such as client name, phone number, service address, requested services, notes, status updates, and completion photos.
- Location data when a driver or staff member uses dispatch/location features, such as sharing trip progress for a booking.
- Communication and operational data, such as masked-call activity, WhatsApp/message status, push notification tokens, crash reports, IP address, and device or browser information.
How it is used
- To create and secure owner, staff, and driver accounts.
- To help the salon manage bookings, clients, services, team schedules, dispatch, reports, and settings.
- To support features the salon chooses to use, including public booking, masked calling, WhatsApp/client updates, ratings, and push notifications.
- To provide support, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
- To manage billing, subscriptions, and product administration for salon owner accounts.
Who it is shared with
SalonMawid does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Data is shared only as needed to run the service: with the salon account that owns the records, with authorized team members inside that salon, and with trusted service providers such as Cloudflare (hosting), Expo/Apple/Google (app delivery, sign-in, and notifications where applicable), Twilio (masked calling), WhatsApp / Meta (messaging where enabled), and Tap Payments (subscription billing).
Client data handled for salons
Salon owners decide what client and booking information they enter into SalonMawid and how they use it in their business. When a salon uses public booking or client-management features, SalonMawid processes that client data as software provider for the salon. Salons are responsible for giving their own clients any notices or choices required by the laws that apply to their business.
Retention
We keep owner account, business, team, booking, and client records for as long as needed to provide the service, support the salon's operations, meet legal or billing obligations, and protect the service. A salon owner can contact us to request help exporting, correcting, or deleting account data, subject to legal, security, and backup requirements.
Your rights
Salon owners and app users can ask for access to their data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion where applicable by emailing support@salonmawid.com. Salon owners can also start account deletion directly in the app (More → Account → Delete account); deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period during which it can be cancelled. If your information is in SalonMawid because you are a client of a salon, please contact that salon first; we can also help route your request to the salon that controls the booking record.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access is role-based so owners, staff, and drivers see only the information needed for their work. Masked calling is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of client phone numbers. Payment card details for salon subscriptions are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on our servers.
