Terms of Service

SalonMawid is booking and business-management software operated by Amalys Company for Private Software Design and Programming (“Amalys”, “we”), a company registered in Kuwait (Commercial Registration No. 548750).
These terms apply in two ways: Part A applies when you book a service through a salon’s page on this site. Part B applies when you create a SalonMawid account to run your salon or service business. The General sections apply to everyone.
Part A — Booking through a salon’s page
The service
A salon’s page on this site lets you request a visit or service from that salon. The salon — not SalonMawid — provides the beauty/home service and is responsible for it. SalonMawid provides the booking and coordination software.
Bookings and confirmation
Submitting the form creates a request, not a guaranteed appointment. The salon reviews and confirms it, and may contact you to adjust the time. Prices shown are estimates; the salon confirms the final price, which can vary with the actual service performed.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation, rescheduling and any related fees are set by the salon. You can cancel or reschedule online using the manage link included with your booking, or contact the salon directly. Please give as much notice as possible so staff and travel can be rearranged.
Your responsibilities
- Provide an accurate address and a reachable phone number.
- Ensure safe, lawful access to the service location at the agreed time.
- Treat visiting staff with respect.
Communications
By submitting a booking you agree that the salon may contact you about it — by phone call (including calls placed through the platform’s number-masking feature), WhatsApp, or other messages. How your details are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Reviews and rewards
After a visit you may be invited to rate the salon. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. Reviews may be shown publicly on the salon’s page, and we or the salon may remove content that is abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to the service. Any reward offered after leaving a review is provided and honoured by the salon, not by SalonMawid.
Part B — For salons and businesses
Your account
You must provide accurate business information and keep your login credentials and staff PINs confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including what your team members do with the access you give them.
Subscription and billing
SalonMawid offers a free plan and paid plans; the features, staff-seat limits, and prices of each plan are shown at signup and checkout. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, and a one-time setup fee may apply to your first paid invoice where shown at checkout. New paid plans may include a free trial (currently 14 days); when the trial ends without payment, the account moves to the free plan. If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working for a short grace period (currently 7 days) and then moves to the free plan — your data is not deleted. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Your content and client data
Your business records — services, prices, team, bookings, and client details — remain yours. You grant us the right to host and process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Content you choose to publish (business name, logo, photos, services, and client reviews) is displayed on your public booking page. You are responsible for using client information lawfully, including any consent your clients’ law requires for contacting them.
Acceptable use
- Only offer services you are legally permitted to provide.
- Do not use messaging, calling, or booking features to spam, harass, or defraud anyone.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the platform or access other businesses’ data.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period already paid for. You can delete your account in the app (More → Account → Delete account); deletion completes after a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, abuse, or non-payment.
General
Liability
SalonMawid is not a party to the service between a client and a salon and is not liable for the service itself. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is”, and our total liability to a business is limited to the subscription fees it paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kuwait. The service agreement between a client and a salon is governed by the laws of the country in which the salon operates, unless the salon states otherwise.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the “last updated” date above shows the current version.
